Leading Property Managers of Australia 2012 Awards for Excellence

The winners have been announced for the LPMA 2012 Awards for Excellence. Local property management business Doyle Spillane Real Estate is to be congratulated in the Excellence in Customer Service category, winner.

LPMA is an elite group of professionals made up of the very best property management practitioners and companies. They lead the way in professionalism, professional development and industry standards. They are at the forefront of Australian property management practice, and their Awards are highly sought after.

Bob Walters, Executive Director of LPMA said “This year’s LPMA Awards featured a record number of entries from all over Australia, both large businesses, and small ones.”

Look out for High Staff Turnover- though staff turnover is common in the property management industry, an office that has high staff turnover is a good indication that service levels are low and inconsistent. This is usually because they receive no training, support systems or right direction from their real estate principals. Asking how many property managers have been employed in the last year for that agency, or even watching how many times positions are advertised for that agency in property management could be an indication to avoid that agency.
