Tenancy Handbook - Your Introduction & Guide to Renting with Doyle Spillane Real Estate

Making your tenancy as smooth as possible

Congratulations on finding your perfect rental home!

At Doyle Spillane we want you to have an enjoyable tenancy, so we have designed our Tenancy Handbook to answer all of your most pressing questions. From who turns the power on when you first move in to missed rental payments, breaking your lease and requesting general repairs – you will find the answers to all of these questions and much more in this useful handbook.

Of course, tenancy is a two way responsibility, so we also outline our responsibilities as the property managers to you as the tenant. For example, safety is paramount in all of our rental properties, so if you notice faulty or exposed wiring, smell gas, notice poisonous plants growing in the garden or find unsafe steps outside, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can organise emergency repairs. You will find a list of trades people that you can contact after hours for emergency repairs, but always try to contact your property manager first, even after hours. There is more on requesting both urgent and non-urgent repairs in the handbook.

During your tenancy we will be with you every step of the way, so if you have any issues that you need to discuss about your rental property, don't hesitate to call us on 02 9981 9400 or send us an email and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
