The rental market on the Northern Beaches of Sydney is always strong, particularly from September to March (spring through to summer) with a consistent demand for high quality properties. Over the past five years our vacancy rate has been around 1%, so our tenants tend to stay for the long term and when they do vacate and the property comes back onto the rental market, it is snapped up very quickly.
During the spring and summer months, rental properties tend to be on the market for only 5 to 7 days before they are tenanted and during the autumn and winter months for only 10 to 14 days. This means that if you wish to rent a property on the Northern Beaches that you need to keep an eye on the rental availability, know exactly what you want and act very swiftly.
