5 easy steps to transform your deck for summer

If your deck is looking a little worse for wear, the change of seasons is as good a time as any to give it a simple but effective makeover. 

1. Treat wood 

If you have a hardwood deck, make the most of the warmth and richness of the natural timbers. Hardwood decks ooze style and, with care and some maintenance, they can last for years and be the scene of many happy summer gatherings.
