The Tides of Popularity have Turned for Dee Why
For years Dee Why was considered the northern beaches suburb to avoid, this is no longer the case.
Close to the city and a recreational paradise, Dee Why has a lot to offer all age groups. The beach itself forms a natural amphitheatre, with picnic tables, barbeques, playground and rock pool adding to the area’s natural attractions. It has a great range of restaurants, beachside cafes, the wonderful live music venue of Lizottes and so much more. This all adds up to Dee Why being at the top of current buyers list, not at the bottom.
During the year Dee Why plays host to a wide range of cultural and sporting events including New Years Eve fireworks, surf life saving competitions, The Beachley Classic and Australia Day celebrations.
Long time property owners are thrilled with the changing tides of Dee Why’s popularity. A 1970’s unit originally bought for $22,000 in the mid 70’s, just sold for $510,000. Want to know more about property in Dee Why? Contact Geoff Harris, geoff@doylespillane.com.au, or on my mobile : 0411 544 013.
